Transformation is the process of Becoming Mighty in the Lord:  You will learn about God's promise to us about our continued growth and how to appropriate all of God's promises.  When you are ready to be in ministry.  Will God change my name?  How faith fuels the transformation process.  The battle brings strength. 

 

The word Transformation speaks of the process of change in the greatest sense.  This word in the New Testament comes from the Greek word metamorphoo 3339, and it is where we get the word metamorphosis.  When you look at how people start out as babies, then toddlers, to children, to teenagers, to young adults, to adults, then middle age and finally seniors: Each category is a period of growth and change, but as a whole they speak of transformation.  When a caterpillar goes through a transformation it emerges as either a beautiful butterfly or an ugly moth.  Thank God for adoption so that we don’t have to go through lives as moths, but can be transformed into the image of Christ.  

 

Growing Mighty in the Lord is a process, which starts at salvation and continues throughout a believer’s life.  As believers and followers of Christ we are admonished to be transformed by the renewing of the mind (Romans 12:2).  If you are 12 years old and have recently came to know the Lord you will have some bad habits and ideas that you will have to unlearn.  If you are 50 years old and have just came to know the Lord you will have many more bad habits that need to be unlearned.
