Becoming Mighty
in the Lord

You will learn that the shedding of blood is for the remission of sin and the seven times that Christ shed His blood for us.  The true significance of Reconciliation and how Jesus intercedes for us to the Father.  You will also learn why it is so important for Christians to know their legal spiritual rights so that they can walk in their God given authority.

Reconciliation as defined by MS Word 2003 is “the ending of conflict or renewing of a friendly relationship between disputing people or groups”.  Before we became obedient to Christ, we were enemies of God.

Romans 5:10-1110 “For while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by His life.  11 Not only so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through Whom we have now received our reconciliation.”

2 Corinthians 5:17-21 17 “Therefore, if any one is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, behold, the new has come.  18 All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to Himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation;  19 that is, in Christ; God was reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.  20 So we are ambassadors for Christ, God making His appeal through us. We beseech you on behalf of the Messiah, be reconciled to God. 21 For our sake He (God) made Him (Jesus) to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him (Jesus) we might become the righteousness of God.”

Jesus is that offspring that defeated Satan at Calvary and reconciled us back to the Father, by laying down His life for us.  Anyone who believes and chooses to follow in His footsteps will be able to live their life to the fullest (most abundant) potential.  The key here is that they must follow Christ.  To follow means to: Go after, go in the same direction, obey, develop in accordance with, be influenced by, do the same as, engage in activity and accompany (MS Word 2003).

John 3:14-18 14 “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:  15 That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.  16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  17 For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.  18 He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the Name of the only begotten Son of God.”

John 5:24 – “Of a Great Truth, I say unto you, he that hears My word, and believes on Him that sent Me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”

I John 5:12-13.  “He who has the Son has life; he who has not the Son of God has not life.  I write this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life.”

It is important for you to know your rights as a believer (obedient follower) and that now you are reconciled to God, through Christ Jesus.  This Reconciliation speaks of the Absolution of sins and becoming the righteousness of God, through Christ Jesus.  If you don’t know your rights, as a born again believer, the devil will walk all over you until you do.  Only when you know your rights will you be able to put a stop to him.

The only way that you are going to Become Mighty in the Lord is by knowing your rights and who you are in Christ.  This is done by reading the written Word and then putting It to action.  This is impossible unless you have the Holy Spirit living in you.  Without the Holy Spirit teaching you what the Word means, you will only be able to have a limited earthly understanding of scripture and it will be impossible to have a lasting walk with God…
