Learn how to fill your prayers with power. Learn the difference between the Kingdom of God Vs. the Kingdom of Heaven. Learn how to receive God's Justice in every situation.
The three most important forms of Communication that we have with God are Prayer, Praise and Worship. They are forms intimacy between God and man. Remember that Communication is a two way conversation, not just one sided. All that are “Mighty in the Lord” know how important and essential these are. It is essential that you develop all three of these areas.
The Lord has a way of waking us up to spend time with Him. For me it is usually early in the morning, but I have had it happen in the middle of the night too. I will be sound asleep, but then all of a sudden I am wide awake, fully alert and able to think on my feet. I usually never wake up like that on my own. When God awakens me I get up and go to an area in my house that I have set aside for meeting with Him. Sometimes He talks to me, but most of the time I go and wait on Him. That’s right, I wait on the Lord. I don’t read, sing or pray, but instead I wait for His direction. When I got disciplined in this area is when I started experiencing the greatest level of growth and maturity.
Since Jesus’ earthly example was to do ONLY what He saw the Father do and to say ONLY what He heard the Father say, we should do the same. It saddens me to hear Christians say that they are awoken, time and time again in the same manner, in the middle of the night, but their response to God is “I have to get up for work in a couple of hours, I need to get back to sleep”. How can someone say NO to God? The next time that Your heavenly Father wakes you up to spend time with you, don’t rollover and go back to sleep. Get up and go spend time with Him.
