When you know who you are in Christ, you will never be insecure again.  The word ‘Insecure’ means to have a lack of confidence.  However, Christians do not need to have confidence in themselves, we need to have confidence in God.  He is able to meet your needs.  God is not moved by your need, He is moved by your faith.  So when we ask anything, in faith that is according to His will we shall have what we ask for. 

 

True faith in God comes from knowing who God is.  When we look at Hebrews 11 sometimes referred to as the “hall of faith” we see ordinary everyday people who had a revelation about God.  They all saw that He is able capable to meet their needs.  Their confidence was not in themselves but in Him.  When we no longer look to ourselves for our needs but to God we will supply meet all of our needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus.  We cannot do what God has called us to do in our own strength.  It must be Him.
