You will learn that both blessings and curses come through the father's blood line.  What is the Significance of the rebirth experience: Physical death Vs. Spiritual death.  Saved Vs. Unsaved.  How to identify a false prophet. 

 

If an unmarried teenage girl, from a poor family, were to get pregnant and could not provide for her new baby she may put the baby up for adoption.  If a wealthy Christian couple, who could not have children of their own were to adopt that child, we could assume that that child would have a better, more privileged life, than what the single teenage mother could provide for her child.  In the natural realm when a child is adopted it still has the same physical birth mother, but there will be a new set of parents that will be teaching the child a set of values, good or bad.  When you came to faith in Jesus you underwent an adoption in the spirit, in which you now belong to God the Father.  You were bought with a price and that price was the life of Jesus.  

 

When we look at the genealogies, found in Luke 3, we see that Jesus’ earthly father Joseph; could trace his blood line back to Adam and Adam was the son of God.  God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life.  God planted a garden and set man (Adom is Hebrew for ‘man’) in the Garden.  God told Adam that the day Adam ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, that he would die.

 

Genesis 2:15-17.  15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the Garden of Eden to dress (serve) it and to keep (protect) it.  16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, of every tree of the garden thou may freely eat:  17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shall not eat of it: for in the day that thou eat there of you shall surely die. 

 

We know that the day came when Adam and Eve ate of the tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.  We also know that Adam lived several hundred more years and fathered several children after he ate of the tree.  Of course you must have asked yourself the question “why didn’t they drop dead immediately after eating of the tree”?  Well they did, but not in the physical sense; they died spiritually.  This spiritual death is what caused the separation between God and man (mankind).  At this point their eternal spirits no longer belonged to God, but to the devil.  The garden was the place where God came to spend time with His most favorite creation; mankind.  God created both Adam and Eve (Adam from dust and Eve from Adam).  They both hid themselves from God’s presence after they ate in disobedience. 

 

Genesis 3:8 - “And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the spirit of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden. “

 

It was when Adam ate that their (Adam & Eve) eyes were opened and they knew that they were naked.  This is the point that Satan’s rule was established on Earth.  God had to banish Adam and Eve from the garden and set an angel at the gate to keep them from returning and eating from the Tree of Life.

 

Did you ever notice how Adam blamed Eve and God for his sin (the woman, whom You gave me)?  He never took responsibility for listening to her and disobeying God.  Eve followed Adam’s lead and blamed the serpent, when she in fact knew better.  Stop blaming others and start taking responsibility for your actions if you ever want to Become Mighty in the LORD!
